Criteria for Participation/Eligibility Requirements
The minimum requirements to register for this course includes:

Current AWHONN full membership.

NCC Certification in Antepartum, InPatient OB or EFM (one year to obtain)

Successful completion of the current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course within 3 years previous to the Intermediate Instructor Course.

Minimum of 2 years recent direct clinical experience in fetal monitoring

Current direct clinical involvement in fetal monitoring as a staff nurse, physician, manager, clinical nurse specialist, or educator. Current responsibility for the evaluation of fetal monitoring clinical skills of others.

Evidence of ongoing professional development in intrapartum, antepartum, high risk care and fetal monitoring.

AWHONN Course fees are dependent upon the location, a private program at your facility or registering for an upcoming local course. Email me for more details. The fee for your Intermediate Instructor Course Student Pack 7thEd (ISBN 978-1-7924-8830-6) is $225.00. This MUST be ordered thru Kendall/Hunt call 1-800-228-0810 or click here to order your teaching slides.
Registration is non-refundable and can be transferred to the next course if cancellation is done within 48 hours of the class. Otherwise there are no refunds and your fees are forfeited. Registration takes 24-48 hours to process, your patience is appreciated.

This course has pre-course work that MUST be completed 2 days before your scheduled in-person class. The instructions are in the front of your required AWHONN student materials (small blue book). You will not be permitted to take the class without this work completed.
The Intermediate Instructor Course Student Pack listed above under course fees is required for this course, ISBN number and Kendall Hunt contact info is listed in course fees section. The price is $225.00 for the student materials fee. After successfully completing the Intermediate teach-back, access to the complete Intermediate Instructor Teaching materials or purchase of the materials at $495.00 from Kendal Hunt

This workshop is taught by AWHONN-approved Instructor Trainers. The workshop prepares participants to teach Intermediate FM Course. This course is the initial step for individuals who wish to become approved AWHONN FHM Program Instructors.
